Exciting things are happening at the Gateway Outdoor Learning Center. On Saturday September 12th at 12:00 noon, we will have a Facebook Live event to give away our Kayak to a lucky raffle ticket holder, and for our two backpacks that will go to a lucky girl and boy.

Friday September 11th is the deadline for entering the drawing for the backpacks. Here are the requirements:

Entry Rules:

1. Must be a student at Gateway Middle School to enter to win either 1 boys backpack or 1 girls backpack

2. Complete one of the following activities:

A) Submit 2 photos showing the student participating in an outdoor nature activity or Submit 2 photos of a collection of nature themed items such as leaves, nuts, flowers or fruits.

or

B) Write a short paper on a nature themed activity they have participated in or about the importance of nature in our lives.

Submit requirement’s online by messaging the OLC Facebook Page or by mailing them to OLC @ P.O. Box 732 Conneaut, OH 44030D. Winners will be selected on Sept. 12th 2020

Come visit us this Saturday (September 6th) at Conneaut Port Authority and pick up some raffle tickets for the OLC Kayak! We will be there from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. This will be the last chance for you to purchase tickets. Hope to see you there!
