Our Awards

The Gateway Outdoor Learning Center has been privileged to receive the following awards:


In March of 2020 the OLC was awarded the 1st Quarter Spotlight Event Award from the Conneaut Convention and Visitors Bureau. The first time it was ever awarded.
In 2015 our 2 Master Gardeners Carol B. and Beth B. started on the Butterfly and Pollinator Garden. In 2017 The OSU State Extension Office awarded their hard work with the  Outstanding Master Gardener Volunteer Project for Environmental Horticulture Medium Project.

After meeting certain state standards from the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources the OLC received their Ohio Project Wild School Site Certificate in 2015. This project took approximately2 years to achieve.
